Professor Ana Borges Elected New Director of CIICESI

The Research Centre for Business Sciences and Information Systems (CIICESI) recently elected a new leadership team, following internal elections held on May 18. Professor Ana Borges was elected Director, succeeding Professor Vítor Braga, who completed his term after a period marked by significant contributions to the growth and development of CIICESI.

The new leadership team also includes Professors Wellington Alves and Óscar Oliveira, who will serve as Deputy Directors. The team aims to build on the work already done, bringing a renewed and strategic vision focused on research excellence and strengthening ties with the academic community and the business sector.

Recognized for its applied research in the fields of business sciences and information systems, CIICESI now begins a new chapter under the leadership of Professor Ana Borges, with the goal of consolidating and expanding its projects, impact, and relevance.
