The week-long program aimed to deepen participants' understanding of emerging research topics (generative AI, digitally enabled green technologies, and healthcare and environmental innovations) while fostering cultural exchange.

Adriano Andreghetto, one of the selected PhD students, had the opportunity to present his research at the event's poster session. His investigation, titled “Marketing and Communication as a Critical Success Factor for PDO and PGI Agricultural Products”, explored how European producer associations can use digital marketing to highlight the unique attributes of geographically indicated products. The study aims to promote sustainability, preserve cultural heritage, and support local economies through effective marketing strategies. Andreghetto shared his gratitude for being part of this dynamic environment, stating that the event was an inspiring opportunity to connect with like-minded researchers and exchange ideas on sustainable practices.

Through its combination of academic rigor, practical insights, and cultural immersion, the International PhD Week 2024 was an enriching experience that broadened the perspectives of participants and equipped them with valuable skills for future research and leadership roles.
